A dear friend,
a muse and treasure in my life, once told me:
"The Big Guy doesn't want us to do right by other
people for Him. He wants us to do right BY ourselves, because when
we do, we then do right by others FOR ourselves, without guilt,
without obligation, just from the heart, because it makes us better
to make others better".
My journey began with the passing of my father.
His childhood
photo with his dogs, Jack & Snip, was taken on the Thrasher
Family homestead in Lost Springs, Wyoming during the
depression. My dad laughed about this picture and said to me
" I'm older than God's Dogs".
This is now my logo.
The
death of my father was an inspiration to me. Out of
his death, I found
life. I have embarked on journeys created by a yearning of
having a purpose in my life. We are
all children once, and we all will die one day. That is the
cycle of life. It's what we do in between our birth and our
death that matters. This is what shapes the world to be what
it is. It is what we make it to be. I choose to make it
a better place. I choose to start with the children.
This
site is dedicated
to children and all
people in the world. Children are the future. This site is dedicated to the people
I love, whom forever inspire me.
Among them, are
my friends
and family. Especially my daughter,
my granddaughter, and the children I
sponsor, who have each given me purpose and meaning to my life.
I have
three sponsor children, one of which lovingly calls me
"Madrina", Spanish for Godmother.
